Tending to many fires is exhausting, so I decided to focus on one….my own.

Over six generations of Oneidas have survived for me to be here. I have the inherent responsibility to represent who I am and where I come from reminding the outside world WE ARE STILL HERE.

When I wear a ribbon skirt, I feel bold, I feel brilliant and I feel beautiful. It is my intent for every indigenous woman to feel the same.

I hope you experience the same feelings I do with every unique piece.

Each collection is created with respect to the turtle’s shell and the lunar cycle. Color combinations are inspired by the land, the medicines, the sky, and the On^yote’aka (People of the Standing Stone).
Each skirt and it’s color combinations are derived from my surroundings on the Oneida Nation Reservation in Oneida, WI.
